On Sunday, UNWRA expressed concern over the fate of some half a million Palestinian refugees living in Syria, particularly those in the Yarmuk neighbourhood of Damascus, which is home to more than 112,000 of them. Syria is home to 486,000 Palestine refugees living in nine official and three unofficial camps, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees says.
