
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Friday called Tourism Minister Hisham Zazou to follow up the consequences of the deplorable accident that occurred on Sharm el-Sheikh-Tor road in the wee hours of Friday.
Zazou told MENA that Mahlab asserted the government's desire to take important and crucial decisions to curb road accidents.
Also in the phone call, Mahlab directed Zaazou to follow up the situation around the clock and ensure providing good medical care to the injured.
Zazou expressed his condolences to families of passengers who were killed in the accident. He wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Two travel buses collided on Sharm el-Sheikh-Tor road in South Sinai early Friday, leaving 33 dead and 41 injured.
