Iftaa House establishes Islamophobia observatory

The Egyptian Iftaa House has established an Islamophobia observatory to monitor and confront the phenomenon and prevent its impact on Muslim communities abroad.

A statement released by the Iftaa House on Sunday said such step has been taken in the wake of escalating acts of racism and violence and calls against the presence of Muslims in European and American communities.

The observatory seeks to confront such racist phenomenon against Muslims through creating a memory that would help choose the best ways to contact the various parties particularly in the media and research and decision makers to produce a media rhetoric that serves the interests of Muslims worldwide, the statement added.
