
The Secretary General of the International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) of the Muslim World League, Ihsan bin Saleh Tayeb met here yesterday the Consul General of the Republic of Gambia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Al-Ameen Sato Bouhang and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, a number of issues related to ways of strengthening the relations between the Organization and the civil society organizations in Gambia were discussed.
For his part, the Gambian Consul expressed his thanks and appreciation to the IIRO efforts and its noble positions towards the Gambian people in all situations of adversity and calamities, pointing out that humanitarian aid provided by the Organization had a significant impact in saving thousands of the poor and the needy in his country.
