
Border guards in Salloum foiled Tuesday an attempt by 69 persons to infiltrate via the Egyptian-Libyan borders.
They were nabbed from a military zone where civilians are not allowed to enter without permission.
The infiltrators included 25 from Assiut, 15 from Fayyoum, 11 from Minya, six from Beni Suef, four from Behira, three from Kafr el Shiekh, two from Daqahlia and one from Ismalia.
They grouped also two from Sudan.
The general prosecution was notified to open a probe.
