The Contractual employees at the Information ministry called a while ago upon President of the Republic Michel Aoun to interfere to relist their law draft on the agenda of the convened legislative session at the parliament.
The employees asked Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, Prime Minister Saad Hariri and the MPs to respond to their request and approve the draft.
They also asked them to separate the contractual employees' draft at the ministry from that of the contractual employees at the other Public administrations, adding "this is a righteous demand."
The said employees announced that they will continue the sit-in, explaining that the National News Agency (NNA), Radio Liban the Studies Center and all the departments in the Ministry would stop performing any work until their demand is met.
They also thanked the Media outlets and electronic sites which took a stance in solidarity with them.
