
Interior Minister Magdi Abdel Ghaffar visited Friday injured police personnel at the Police Hospital in Agouza district of Giza.
The policemen were wounded during a campaign against a terrorist hotbed in the Maryoutiya district of Giza.
Abdel Ghaffar inquired after the injured policemen and wished them a speedy recovery.
He lauded sacrifices of police troops in order to maintain Egypt's security.
On Thursday, six people, including three policemen, were killed and 13 others wounded when an explosive device went off during a manhunt operation that targeted a terrorist hideout in Giza governorate.
