
Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghafar on Saturday visited injured policemen who were admitted to El Galaa Hospital for Armed Forces after they took part in an operation against a terrorist hideout in Cairo's district of Qebaa.
The minister inquired after the health of the injured police personnel and voiced his appreciation for their sacrifices and their national role in confronting terrorism.
He also appreciated the high morale of the injured policemen and wished them a speedy recovery.
The minister also highlighted the close cooperation between police and army in eradicating terrorism and providing security and peace for all Egyptians.
The injured policemen, for their part, reiterated their determination to carry out their duties to protect the homeland.
