
The Ministry of Interior announced on Sunday the second part of its security report for 2016.
In a press release, the ministry said that the forces seized the perpetrators of 2,824 crimes at an increase of six percent comparing to 2015.
The forces also seized perpetrators of 12,527 robbery crimes at an increase of seven percent comparing to 2015. Also, 37,448 firearms, 246,690 bullets, 100 firearms workshop, 67,999 white steels weapons, and 74 firearms stolen from police facilities were seized while 1,278 gangs were found at an increase of four percent comparing to 2015.
The Interior Ministry also said that the Interpol succeeded in deporting 47 Egyptian outlaws to Egypt and handing over 40 foreigner outlaws at an increase of 22 percent comparing to 2015.
