Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar asked for preparing training programs, in coordination with training apparatus along with training and development faculty at Police Academy, to develop the skills of policemen in the humanitarian, social and legal domains.
All policemen and the ministry of interior employees should enroll in the training program, Abdel Ghaffar added.
Directives to launch the program come in view of the growing security challenges in the country.
The main axis of the program would focus on highlighting the decisive role of policemen in light of respecting human rights and offering civil services, the minister stated.
He further said the other axes of the training program will deal with mistakes that could distort the image of the police as well as building trust between security and citizens.
