
Interior Ministry committees, formed upon directives of Interior Minister General Magdy Abel Ghafar, will continue its work to receive complains filed by the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) on behalf of families whose relatives went missing or disappeared in ambiguous conditions, a reliable source at the Interior Ministry Media centre said.
The source said the Interior Ministry has so far notified NCHR about 228 cases and the committees will continue checking on other missing cases.
He also asserted that the Interior Ministry is fully cooperating with NCHR regarding such complains emanating from its keenness to enhance and protect human rights and freedoms.
