International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr underlined her keenness to hold meetings with youths from all walks of life in order to support their role in the community.
This came during her participation in the Arab Youth Forum that kicked off here on Sunday under the rubric “An innovative approach to green growth and job creation in the MENA region”.
She also asserted that the Arab youths became the target of development strategies in the Arab region.
She also asserted the importance of providing the right environment that aims to recruit youths in order to achieve overall and sustainable development.
The minister urged youths to be more positive in the current phase especially after initiatives announced earlier by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The three-day forum is organized at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and in cooperation with United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
The forum is held under the auspices of Sisi.
The forum was inaugurated by the ministers of youths, supply, trade and international cooperation as well as commander of the Northern Military Region, Alexandria governor, president of AASTMT and a number of ambassadors and public figures.
The forum will witness the participation of local and foreign companies that will offer about 1,200 job opportunities for youths.
