
Iraqi Defense Minister Khalid al Obeidi inspected Monday the troops fighting Daesh terrorist group in Baiji and Salaheddin provinces.
The Media Adviser of the Iraqi Defence Ministry Nussier Nory told MENA correspondent here that al Obeidi lauded the performance of the soldiers fighting Daesh in Baiji.
He also inspected the troops in Salaheddin and encouraged them to free the Iraqi territories from the control of this extremist organization, Nory noted.
The minister met with a group of the "Public Mobilization" and hailed the coordination between them and the Iraqi armed forces in Baiji which has the biggest Iraqi oil refinery.
