Iraqi defence minister praises high combat efficiency of Iraqi forces

Iraqi Defense Minister Khaled al Obeidi on Sunday asserted that the intensive training helped the Iraqi armed forces to restore the necessary combat efficiency to fight terrorism.
He made the remarks during his visit to the headquarters of Diyala Operations Command in northern Iraq where he met with a number of officers and discussed with them the special training program for qualifying Iraqi troops to combat terrorist organizations here.
Also, Al Obeidi along with Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army General Othman al-Ghanimi and Commander of the Ground Forces, Lieutenant General, Riyadh Jalal inspected Bismayah camp in southeast Baghdad.
During the tour, Al Obeidi checked the training level of the Iraqi forces and thanked them for their sacrifices for Iraq, urging them to do more efforts to purge Daesh terrorist group from Iraq.
