As many as 20 Daesh militants were killed Tuesday by the Iraqi forces in Anbar and Saladin governorates.
In Anbar, the Iraqi forces' shelling to a neighborhood in central of Ramadi's city claimed the lives of 12 militants, a security source said.
The intensive shelling to Ramadi came as a preparation for storming the city to expel Daesh militants, the source said.
Meantime, eight other militants, including an Afghan leader, were killed in a military operation in Saladin governorate, it added.
Military units, supported by the local militias, launched Tuesday a wide scale military operation to retake one of Saladin governorate's neighborhoods.
