
Iraqi forces killed 46 elements of Daesh terrorist group during military operations carried out in Anbar.
The Iraqi police advanced in Anbar forcing Daesh militants to retreat after 35 of them were killed.
In press statements on Saturday, Interior Ministry spokesman Saad Maan said that the extremists left behind 35 bodies, adding that some of them hold Arab and foreign nationalities.
The Iraqi forces managed to dismantle 12 booby-trapped houses and two schools, Maan said.
The forces, affiliated to Baghdad Operation Command, killed 11 terrorists in western Baghdad, the official added.
