Iraqi security forces, backed by Al Hashd Al Shaabi militias and police forces Wednesday purged six areas in Saladin province from terrorist Daesh group, Spokesman for Diyala Province police Colonel Ghalib Atya said in a statement.
The Liberated areas are located in the eastern side of the province, he added.
For his part, Vice-President of Anbar Province Council Faleh al Issawi said the council would confer with Anbar Operations Command to develop a security plan to prevent Daesh fighters from infiltrating into Anbar province.
