
Joint Iraqi forces on Sunday liberated "Al Ankour" neighborhood in southern Ramadi city from Daesh militant group and killed 23 terrorists in Haditha neighborhood in Anbar and destroyed seven vehicles carrying medium weapons.
Security sources said the Iraqi army and Al Hashd Al Shaabi (popular committees forces) liberated Al Ankbour, located 20 kilometers in southern Ramadi, after hunting down Daesh militants.
Meanwhile, the joint Iraqi forces repelled an attack by Daesh on Haditha neighborhood, killed 23 terrorists and destroyed seven vehicles carrying weapons.
