Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament Salim al Jabouri and a number of parliamentarians arrived in Ain al-Asad airbase in western Ramadi in Anbar on Saturday to check on the area and meet security officials along with tribal leaders and fighters.
Jabouri warned that there are bodies who try to foil the Iraqi victories on Daesh terrorists by causing tensions in some places.
A suicide bombing conducted by Daesh took place in Meqdadiya Monday, Jabouri pointed out, adding that the victory achieved in Ramadi and the return of Diyala displaced are step forward and will not be thwarted by such rejected acts.
The joint Iraqi command forces announced on December 28 that Ramadi is officially free and raised the Iraqi flag on the "governmental compound" and there are operations to clean the city from any explosive devices.
