Israeli forces on Friday denied a group of top Palestinian officials, including Prime Minister Rami al Hamdallah, access to Al Quds.
The group also included head of the Palestinian General Intelligence Service Majid Faraj and Head of Preventive Security in the West Bank Ziyad Hab al Rih.
They were trying to enter the city through Hizma crossing, spokesman for the Palestinian unity government Ehab Bseiso said on Friday.
Over the past few days, Israeli forces have attacked Palestinians who barricaded themselves inside the Al Aqsa to prevent Israeli settlers from entering the mosque.
