Israeli forces arrest al-Quds Grand Mufti

Israeli occupation troops arrested Grand Mufti of al-Quds Sheikh Mohamed Hussein after storming his house in Jabel Mukaber, south of al-Quds (occupied East Jerusalem). The director of the Mufti office Moustafa al-Arag said that the mufti was arrested on Wednesday morning and will be imprisoned in al-Maskoubiyeh jail in Al-Quds. The reason behind his detention is still unknown, he added. Meanwhile, Mustafa Abu-Zahra, the chairman of the Committee for the Care of Islamic Graves in Al-Quds, was also arrested by the Israeli troops at Al-Aqsa Mosque
