Jordan king opens new premises of public security department

His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces on Wednesday inaugurated the new complex of the Public Security Department (PSD) in the southern Amman suburb of Muqableen.The King toured facilities of the new complex which houses most of the PSD’s management and services departments which were previously located in various neighborhoods of the capital.He also inspected the PSD’s main operations room which is equipped with modern technology that provides assistance to operation rooms of police departments directly connected to the Command and Control Center.In remarks during the ceremony, Director of the PSD General Hussein Majali said the department will continue the process of development and modernization to be able to shoulder its security and humanitarian responsibilities efficiently.
