The Lower House of Parliament cautioned against the consequences of international silence on the issue of the situation in Gaza and continuing humanitarian catastrophe in the coastal enclave.
The House said the Palestinians in Gaza were facing the ugliest collective genocide by the Israeli occupation forces, noting that it was following the continued Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip with a sense of deep concern and shock.
It also voiced its full rejection of the Israeli justifications for the offensive and said the international community shoulders the responsibility of pursuing Israel in international criminal and human rights courts.
The Israeli aggression, the House added, is a flagrant violation of all international humanitarian laws and contravenes efforts to advance the peace process between the Palestinians and Israelis.
The Lower House also urged the international community to immediately intervene to put an end to the Israeli offensive in Gaza and provide protection to the Palestinians there.
It also called on Egypt to respond to calls to open border crossings with Gaza to ensure the delivery of medical and humanitarian aid to the Palestinians.
The House praised the supportive stance of His Majesty King Abdullah II towards the Palestinians and extended condolences to the families of the victims.
