Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour voiced the government's commitment to carry out plans agreed upon between ministerial committees and members of the Lower House-based Mubadara alliance.
Ensour, who met, along with his ministerial team, with President of the parliamentary initiative Saad Hayel Srour, said these plans were developed based upon mutual understandings, adding that there were no reasons for not implementing the plans, which were discussed during meetings that were held over an 11 month period.
His Majesty the King, he added, is expecting participants to accomplish their tasks and achieve those visions that contribute to improving the quality of life of all citizens.
Further, Srour said that the government's commitment to implementing what had been agreed upon is key to achieving success, noting that the results of this meeting is a culmination of major efforts made by members of the initiative.
Mubadara seeks to become a shadow government with a clear platform to address key national issues.
The initiative has worked with the government in an effort to seek solutions to deep-rooted problems, including human rights concerns and education.
