
Jordan will host two conferences in Amman on October 6-7 on the role of media in countering terrorism.
Organized in cooperation between the Arab League (AL) and Petra News Agency, the 3rd seminar and 14th session of the permanent experts team assigned to monitor the role of media in fighting extremism and terrorism.
Jordan's Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Al Momani and assistant AL chief for media and communication Hifaa Abu Ghazala will be among the attendees.
Arab delegations form the ministries of information and interior in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Iraq, Oman, Palestine and Libya will be present, along with other representatives from Arab unions and organizations.
