
Jordan welcomed on Monday the projected visit of Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, due Wednesday, and the convocation of Egyptian-Jordanian higher committee meetings during the visit.
Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohamed Moamani told MENA that the 25th session of the higher committee will discuss boosting economic and energy cooperation, joint investments and regional efforts to fight terrorism.
Egyptian-Jordanian relations are a model to follow suit in terms of Arab-Arab relations, he said, adding that the kingdom is happy that Egypt is starting to regain its pioneering role in the region as well as its security and stability.
