The Cabinet discussed, on Sunday, the deteriorating situation in the Gaza Strip as a result of the continued Israeli aggression on the blockaded Palestinian territory.
Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, who chaired the session, said Jordan is continuing its contacts with Arab and friendly countries to pressure Israel to end its assault and to highlight the conflict's dangerous political and humanitarian repercussions on the Palestinians.
Commenting on calls to withdraw the Jordan's ambassador to Israel, Enosur said the ambassador is present in Israel to serve the citizens of the West Bank, the Arabs inside Israel as well as the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
He said Jordan will continue, under the directives of his Majesty the King, to provide all support to the Palestinians at all forums.
The prime minister voiced Jordan's condemnation of the massacres being committed by the Israeli forces and the attacks on innocent civilians and voiced Jordan's stance which calls for an immediate halt to the aggression, the lifting of the blockade on Gaza and the need to reach a just and political solution to the Palestinian issue.
