
The Cabinet, in its session today chaired by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, discussed the outcome of meetings and continued discussions of the Lower House of Parliament on the issue of electricity tariffs.
The Cabinet stressed the fact that the government respected the discussions and the recommendations of the Lower House, and considers it a true partner in the decision making process
The Cabinet also affirmed the government's commitment to hold consultations with the House on issues of concern to the country and its citizens.
In this context, the prime minister said the government is ready to interact and be fully open to the Lower House to achieve the interests of Jordan.
"This government is the government of national responsibility that is determined to address all problems," he said, highlighting the importance of preserving the international reputation that Jordan has acquired and which led to the flow of aid, grants and loan guarantees that enable the country to borrow from international markets.
