Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh discussed on Monday with GCC ambassadors here the latest developments in the region, especially the Syrian crisis. Kuwait Ambassador to Jordan Dr. Hamad Al-Duaij told KUNA that the minister expressed appreciation to the support of Kuwait and all of GCC countries, including their constant initiatives amid economic hardship facing the nation. The meeting, Al-Duaij added, was held in the foreign ministry and they agreed on holding regular meetings. Al-Duaij noted that Judeh briefed the ambassadors on the outcome of his latest meeting with UN aid representatives concerning Syrian refugees, and ways to find a joint mechanism to ease their pain. The minister pointed to King Abdullah's directives to provide a safe haven and the necessary services to the Syrian "brothers" who take refuge in Jordan and to continue receiving them "regardless of any other considerations."
