
Interior Minister Hussein Majali discussed on Sunday with Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Sami Al-Saleh means to enhance bilateral ties in political, economic and security spheres.
Majali stressed that the relations between Jordan and Saudi Arabia are very advanced, thanks to the way these have been steered by His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Saudi King, Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.
He said that increased cooperation and coordination between the two countries in various fields will reflect positively on both the two countries and will serve their interests, calling at the same time to enhance cooperation in the field of security and exchanging information as well as in fighting terrorism and crimes of various kinds.
On his part, the Saudi ambassador stressed his country's keenness to strengthen bilateral relations with Jordan, pointing to the two countries sharing positions on various Arab, regional and international issues.
