
Minister of Justice, Bassam Talhouni, on Sunday, discussed with his Palestinian counterpart Salim Al Sakka, aspects of develping judicial cooperation between the two sides.
The Minister highlighted measures undertaken by the Ministry of Justice during previous years, to facilitate and improve the litigation process.
Talhuni said his ministry is ready to provide support to the Palestinian judiciary body, whether on litigation development or practical experiences in dealing with problematic cases.
The Palestinian minister stressed the importance of mutual legal and judicial cooperation, noting that Palestine looks forwards to benefitting from the Jordanian expertise in this area.
Sakka said that Jordan has never stopped supporting Palestine and it has been at the forefront in supporting the Palestinian people and their steadfastness in their homeland, and did not hesitate to offer any support to Palestine's judicial field.
