Jordanian royal decree approves amended civil service system

A Royal Decree has been issued, endorsing the amended Civil Service system.
With the issuance of the Royal Decree approving the system and its publication in the Official Gazette, making it effective from October 16, 2014, the amended system is now in force from that date.
The system includes amendments to a number of articles related to cancellation of sick leave, which was being deducted from the balance of the employees' vacations or leave without pay, and promotion to the first category jobs.
