
Jordanian Monarch King Abdulla II received here today the Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil.
King Abdulla II reiterated his country’s firm stances in support of all efforts to deal with the challenges posing a threat to the region’s security and stability, amid the increasing violence, fanaticism, extremism and terrorism.
He stressed the solid Jordanian-Lebanese relations, and the need to bolster them in various fields, affirming support to Lebanon’s unity, security and stability.
The two sides agreed on the need to reach a political solution to Syrian crisis that puts an end to the suffering of the Syrian people.
They urged more UN support to the countries hosting Syrian refugees, especially Jordan and Lebanon.
