Head of Alexandria State Council Judges Club Counselor Hosni Salmouni stressed on Wednesday that Egypt's honest judges will stand by Egypt no matter what the sacrifices are and will always back the country's steps towards democracy.
In statements to MENA, Salmouni condemned the terrorist attack in Arish that left two judges, four policemen and one civilian dead and a number of people wounded.
He said this coward terrorist act would make judges even more determined to stand against flagrant terrorism and will never intimidate them for overseeing parliamentary elections.
A car laden with explosives approached the entrance of Swiss Inn hotel in Arish on Tuesday. Security guards opened fire and the vehicle blew up.
Separately two attackers entered the building, One detonated a suicide vest in the kitchen while the other opened fire in a room.
The two judges who were shot dead had been overseeing the second round of parliamentary elections in the area.
