
Khartoum State Council of Ministers has approved the annual strategic report for the year 2013, and considered it the basic and reference document for all information about the state including in the health, education and investment areas.
The council has described as “ a huge achievement” the report which was compiled by a group of expert from the Higher Council for Strategic planning headed by Dr Omar Bassan and the secretary General Amir Mirghani and the membership of the secretaries of the various departments.
The official launching of the report will take place on Monday at Rotana Hotel in the presence of the Vice President of the Republic, Hassabou Mohamed Abdul Rahaman, and the participation of a number of federal and state ministers as well as heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the Sudan and leader of civil societies and political parties.
Dr Omar Bassan, the Minister at the Higher Council, has pointed out in statements that the report was comprehensive and contains all basic statistics and information about the state and that it is to be considered the cornerstone for sustainable development in Khartoum state.
He said the Khartoum State Council of Ministers, headed by Governor Dr Abdul Rahaman Al Khidir, Thursday, commended the report and said it should be the basic reference for all information and statistics about the state.
