Security forces announced on Tuesday that they had killed 15 members of the IS in a wide security operation launched on Tuesday morning from the desert area on the border between Jurf al-Sakhar, 45 km northwest of Hilla, and Amiriyat al- Fadiliyah towards the area of al-Fadhiliya.
A security source in Babylon Operations Command told the National Iraqi News Agency / Nina / that the army and police forces and elements of the popular mobilization with the support of military aviation and artillery took part in the military operation, adding that the security forces has also managed to destroy a number of hideouts of the IS and liberation of most of the area of Fadhiliyah.
