KRCS distributes eid's sacrificial lamb to refugees

The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) on Saturday distributed rations of Eid Al-Adha's sacrificial livestock to Syrian refugees in northern Lebanon.
In a statement to KUNA, the KRCS's envoy, Dr. Musaed Al-Enezi, said the sacrificial lamb meat would be distributed to 2,600 Syrian families in Lebanon.
The society is following up on other forms of assistance given to the Syrian refugees, he said, alluding to facilities where the KRCS personnel provide kidney dialysis for patients and distribute food.
The Kuwait-provided aid supplies have reached tens of thousands of Syrian refugees in various Lebanese regions and the relief operations have been carried out in coordination with the Lebanese Red Cross and the Kuwaiti Embassy.
A refugee, named Abu Yazan, expressed gratitude in remarks to KUNA to His Highness the Amir, the Government and people of Kuwait for sending in the relief supplies, indicating such acts truly substantiate His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah earning of the UN acclamation as a "humanitarian leader." Kuwait, namely the philanthropic society, has been in lead among nations offering aid and humanitarian supplies to some 1.5 million Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
