Kuwait, Algeria mull further cooperation

Kuwaiti Ambassador to Algeria Saud Faisal Al-Duwaish and Algerian Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women Affairs Mounia Meslem discussed here on Monday the ways of strengthening social cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides expressed willingness to enhance common action in the field of social activity, showing their experiments in this regard.
For his part, Ambassador Al-Duwaish voiced his country's gratitude to Algeria for its warm reception of Kuwait's "Journey of Hope" boat when it arrived at the Port of Algiers last June.
He noted that the aim of the journey was to deliver a humanitarian message to the peoples and the governments across the globe toward the necessity of integrating people with disabilities into their societies.
He dedicated a special shield of the journey to the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women Affairs.
The journey docked at the Algerian port on June 26 as part of its worldwide tour to express solidarity with people with disabilities.
