
National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim on Thursday discussed with Jordan's Senate President Abdul Raouf Rawabdeh and an accompanying delegation means of cementing bilateral parliamentarian ties.
The talks emphasized the deep-rooted Kuwaiti-Jordanian relations and coordination between the two councils on the international scene.
Regional political and security developments also featured high on the talks agenda, in particular the Syrian refugees in the Kingdom and Amman's efforts to help them.
The visiting delegation included a host of Senate members, among them Senate vice president Faisal Al-Fayez.
