
Kuwait Monday underscored strong support for an international protection of Palestinians who were subjected to systematic Israeli bombardment in Gaza Strip, and announced a USD 10 million donation for the Palestinian people.
"We strongly support provision of an international protection of the brotherly Palestinian people," First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah said in a speech before an urgent meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers to discuss the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, addressing the meeting, also announced a USD 10 million donation to help the Palestinian people.
The Foreign Ministers' meeting was held at the request of Kuwait which chairs the Arab Summit.
