
Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah underlined here on Monday the depth of relations and bonds among the GCC countries. While meeting undersecretaries of GCC interior ministries, Sheikh Mohammad also stressed the significance of exerting continuous efforts to maintain Gulf security and public safety through a single security strategy on the fight against crimes. The undersecretaries are here for a meeting mainly to make preparations for the 15th consultative meeting of the GCC interior ministers. The Kuwaiti minister urged the GCC security officials to launch more fruitful and constructive cooperation in order to maintain the gains of the GCC member states in all security fields and to support their joint plans and programs. He voiced hope that the meeting will come up with recommendations that could really live up to the current Gulf security challenges and establish Gulf security cooperation on all levels.
