Kuwait: Power gradually returing in various parts of the country

Electricity and Water Ministry said Wednesday that they're working to restore power and gradually some areas witnessed the return of electricity, noting that the blackout will end completely within the next few hours.
The ministry said in a statement that the glitch occurred in Al-Subbiya power station, causing the protection system to terminate 2,000 megawatt, adding that work is currently taking place to ensure safety and restore power to the network grid.
Earlier, many areas in the country witnessed a blackout due to the malfunction.
