
General Director of Kuwait General Administration of Customs Khaled Al-Saif said here on Wednesday that the third meeting of the Committee on customs cooperation between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia is of great importance as it discussed ways of simplifying procedures to facilitate the traffic of goods between the two countries. Al-Saif said in a speech that discussing these measures was beneficial to the Gulf citizens as complementary to the work of the GCC Customs Union, praising the efforts of the two sides which yielded solutions to the difficulties in the clearance and facilitate the exchange of experiences and the completion of an electronic link between the customs regulations in both countries. He stressed keenness of his institution to resolve the obstacles and difficulties that hinder the work of customs, referring to the pursuit of Kuwait and the Kingdom towards the development and facilitation of customs work through mutual cooperation.
