
A shipment of approximately 5,000 military uniforms, hidden in a truck, was seized by authorities as it crossed the border into Kuwait, coming from a Gulf country, a press statement issued by the media department in the Ministry of Interior said on Tuesday.
Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department in the Ministry of Interior were directed by the Department's chief Maj. Gen. Mahmoud Al-Tabbakh to track the shipment and determine its contents which were brought in from a Gulf country, said the press statement.
It added that the uniforms were part of a larger shipment on the truck headed to a Gulf country.
The statement said that four Gulf citizens were arrested and accused of smuggling the uniforms into Kuwait
