Kuwaiti ambassador in Iraq meets parliament speaker Jabouri

Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq Ghassan Al-Zawawi met with the newly- elected Speaker of the Council of Representatives of Iraq Salim Jabouri on Sunday, congratulating him on the new post.
The Ambassador visited Jabouri in his main office, expressing the greetings of Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, according to Kuwait Embassy.
The two sides discussed issues of mutual concern and bilateral relations, the Embassy noted.
Jabouri on his part said Iraq is looking forward to develop cooperation with Kuwait in every field while also strengthening the two countries' ties.
The Iraqi parliament has elected Jabouri as Speaker last week, a step towards brining political stability to the country.
