
Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah condemned on Sunday the bloody attacks that targeted Egyptian servicemen in North Sinai on Thursday.
During a meeting with Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, the Kuwaiti emir wished Egypt security and safety.
The perpetrators of such terrorist attacks had no link to Islam, he said, expressing Kuwait's support for Egypt during this critical period.
He also praised Egyptians' contributions to achieving educational, developmental and construction renaissance in Kuwait.
Also, the Kuwaiti emir stressed that his country would participate in the Egyptian economic conference, which would be held on March 13-15.
He announced Kuwait's support for Egypt in its endeavors to gain a non-permanent seat at the UN Security Council for the 2016-2017 term.
Mahlab, meanwhile, expressed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's greetings to the Kuwaiti leadership and people.
