
Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-AHmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences to Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz over the deaths and injuries of scores of people when a crane collapsed in the Holy Mosque of Mecca.
The Emir expressed deepest condolences for the death of the worshippers wishing speedy recovery for the injured.
Also, Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber and Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Sabah sent messages of condolences to the Saudi king over the accident.
Earlier in the day, 87 people were killed while 154 were injured when a crane fell in the Holy Mosque in Mecca due to heavy rains.
