Kuwaiti Emir congratulates Ahmad Abul Gheit on his Arab League post

Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Friday congratulated Ahmad Abul Gheit on his selection as the next Arab League Secretary general, wishing him success in his new tasks, KUNA news agency reported on Friday.
The Emir, in a cable to Abul Gheit, said he was confident the upcoming Arab top diplomat's diplomatic experience would enable him to carry out his duties, thus boost common Arab action.
Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah also congratulated Abul Gheit on his selection, wishing him success in his new duties.
Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent a similar cable.
