Kuwaiti emir receives congratulatory cable from GCC red crescent societies

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has received a congratulatory cable from senior officials of GCC red crescent societies on the occasion of the conclusion of their meeting held here.
In their cable, the officials congratulated His Highness the Amir on winning the UN title as a "Humanitarian Leader" and Kuwait as a "Humanitarian Center".
They said this unprecedented UN initiative reflects the great positions of His Highness the Amir and the State of Kuwait in the humanitarian and development realms.
They also voiced thanks and appreciation to the Kuwaiti government for warm welcome and hospitality, wishing His Highness the Amir good health and Kuwait more development and prosperity.
