Kuwaiti information minister: Egypt has distinguished position in hearts of Arabs

Kuwaiti Information Minister Sheikh Salman Sabah Al Salem Al Hamoud Al Sabah said that Egypt has a distinguished position in the hearts of Arabs, noting that Kuwait is open for all Egyptian brothers and wishing prosperity and progress for Egypt.

In statements to MENA on the fringe of his inauguration of an Egyptian handicrafts exhibition, the minister said Egyptian cadres have contributed to achieving Kuwaiti development and progress in various fields, praising the depth of relations between the two countries and their peoples.

The minister also praised the efforts exerted by Egyptian Ambassador in Kuwait Yasser Atef in boosting cultural relations between the two countries.

The minister pointed out that the exhibition reflected the depth of Egyptian civilization throughout history.

The exhibition is held as part of events organized on the occasion of naming Kuwait as capital of the Islamic Culture for 2016.
